The last week of February…say what??

Wow! Time is sure flying. We have already surpassed the 100th day, said good-bye to our Winter Holiday and are now looking to the last half of the year!

Here’s what’s happening in the hood this week:

  1. Citizens of the world project is due on Friday. To keep everyone accountable and on time with their projects, I expect a short and concise overview presented to the class on Friday afternoon.
  2. Tin Foil Relief art is also due on Friday as we make way to start wood burning techniques on our newly furnished snowshoes. Too bad we have no snow to use them on, but we sure enjoyed creating them.
  3. Our new thematic Essential Question for the next six weeks will be talking about integrity. Start to reflect on how you treat others around you.

A Look at the Last Week before Holidays

  • Working hard on designing our snowshoes so we can begin production on Wednesday!
  • Continuing to design logos and tag lines for our Classroom Energy Diet Challenge – voting will take place on Friday
  • Continued work time for our Citizens of the World project.
  • Thursday’s field trip requires sleds if anyone can donate theirs for use during the day. Please have money and note returned to me by Wednesday, so I can do the paperwork and submit it into the office in a timely manner.

work hard work hard work hard this week!!!!
